### Who is Ashish Gupta?
Ashish Gupta is a prominent Indian entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. He serves as the Founder and Managing Director of Helion Ventures, recognized as one of the foremost venture capital firms in India. Additionally, Gupta holds the position of Founding Trustee at Ashoka University and acts as the Chairman of the India Venture Capital Association. His extensive involvement in the investment community includes angel investing in more than 50 startups, both domestic and international.
In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Gupta is highly regarded for his philanthropic contributions. He chairs Asha, a non-profit organization located in Delhi that focuses on providing educational opportunities for underprivileged children across India. He is also the founder of the Aarohan Social Innovation Foundation, which aims to foster sustainable development initiatives within the country.
